Mental health support
I offer mental health treatment and support for anxiety, stress, depression, and adjustment difficulties. These sessions are about giving you skills to manage on difficult days, helping you to become more constructive in your thinking, getting in touch with your values and strengths, and living life in a way that is aligned with who you want to be. Approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy.

Therapy for sexual assault
Heal from sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse to live life on your terms once again. These sessions offer a safe, supported therapy approach to reflect on how these experiences have impacted you, including examining your thinking patterns, experiencing difficult emotions in a healthy way, and working towards ways of building a meaningful and flourishing life. Cognitive Processing Therapy and EMDR are offered. Both are evidence-based, tailored therapies for PTSD and trauma symptoms. These approaches require the ability to commit to regular sessions.

ADHD Support
Receiving a diagnosis of ADHD can be an incredibly validating experience, yet it can also bring up feelings of grief, sadness, and the questions of "what if I'd known sooner?". Supporting adults with ADHD (particularly those who have recently received a diagnosis) is one of my passions. Let's unpack and re-work your core beliefs, explore skills and strategies to manage difficulties, and support you to advocate for yourself in various areas of your life. In addition to individual sessions, our impactful group program 'Doing ADHD Differently' is available via Our Mind Space Psychology.

Sacred birthing work."

Birth Preparation
Birth is just as much a mental game as it is physical, so working with a psychologist is a helpful way to bolster your birth preparation. Re-work those beliefs about pain and fear; emotionally and psychologically prepare for birth and matrescence; and learn helpful tools for birth. Sessions also include birth and postpartum planning with your partner, as birth is just the beginning of the next epic chapter for you both. While this service is open to all women, as a homebirth mumma myself I particularly enjoy working with families planning for a homebirth. These sessions are ideal for first-time Mums and women aiming for an empowered, transformative birth experience. Learn more about birth preparation sessions here.

Birth Debriefing
All birth stories deserve to be heard; from the epic to the challenging and everything in between. Birth debriefing might be about having a coveted space to celebrate your birth and have your story heard, or this session could be an initial starting point for processing a difficult birth experience. I’ll conduct an assessment and can recommend further therapy options as needed. Home visits are available for the newly postpartum (first three months).

Birth Trauma Therapy
Process a traumatic birth to promote your mental health, bond with your baby, improve your relationship, and maybe even prepare for a future birth. Home visits are available for the newly postpartum (first three months). Cognitive Processing Therapy & EMDR are offered. Both are evidence-based, tailored therapies for PTSD and trauma symptoms. These approaches require the ability to commit to regular sessions.
