About Me
Hi there! I’m Kendall. I’m a 34-year-old Mum living and working on Dharawal Country (the Illawarra).
I love my job as a psychologist. So far in my career I’ve had several different interest areas. These have included working with women with ADHD, and survivors of sexual assault, amongst offering therapy for a range of mental health concerns.
In March 2024 I became a Mum to my amazing daughter via a beautiful homebirth. Many people in my life would recall that for a lot of my life I was hesitant about becoming a Mum, given how challenging and isolating motherhood can be in our current society, not to mention the beliefs I held about birth itself being too painful, unbearable and insurmountable.
As a result, prior to and during my pregnancy, I became obsessed with preparing myself for birth and motherhood as best I possibly could. I’ve gone on my own journey to unlearn and work with those beliefs I held about birth and motherhood in a much more constructive way. It doesn’t mean life is now perfect or problem-free, but it means I’ve been conscious in my choices, my relationships, my self-education, and using psychological skills and strategies to be the best Mum and partner I can be.
So that brings me to my most recent passion… helping women prepare for birth and motherhood so they can feel empowered, transformed and excited about this next chapter of their life!
I believe that with the right support, women can heal from difficult and traumatic experiences; live in closer alignment with their intuition and values; consciously nurture healthy relationships; and enter motherhood feeling transformed, empowered and positively fierce.
